Winner of a $1,000 grant
The mission of Skyland Trail is to help individuals recover from mental illness and live independent and successful lives in the community. We are known for specializing in the treatment of complex mental health diagnoses and offer expert, evidence-based psychiatric care alongside a compassionate, holistic path to wellness. One of our key adjunctive therapy programs is horticultural therapy, which complements more verbal therapies clients receive while at Skyland Trail and helps clients find new ways to express their thoughts and emotions, learn new skills, build confidence, and interact with their peers and the community.
