Sunfinity® Sunflowers: Three Incredible Varieties for Non-Stop Summer Blooms

Sunfinity Sunflowers – The Secret to a Season of Endless Color

Sunfinity® Sunflowers: Incredible Varieties for Non-Stop Summer Blooms

Imagine a sunflower that doesn’t just bloom once and fade, but keeps its color for up to 12 weeks. While traditional sunflowers often have a short garden life of just three or four weeks—ceasing to bloom once cut—Sunfinity® Sunflowers are changing the game.

These vigorous, well-branched hybrids are specifically bred to provide a continuous floral display in garden beds or large containers all season long. Whether you choose the classic Sunfinity® Yellow Dark Center, the striking Sunfinity® Yellow-Red Bicolor, or the lush Sunfinity® Double Yellow, you are planting a “blooming machine” that thrives well past the limits of standard varieties.

Maximizing Performance

For maximum performance in the garden, provide a water-soluble all-purpose fertilizer on a routine basis, or supply a controlled-release fertilizer around the base of the plant every four to six weeks.

When planning your layout, don’t be afraid to experiment with placement; in the landscape, Sunfinity® Sunflowers thrive when paired with plants of varying heights and complementary bloom times. This layering approach creates stunning visual depth and keeps your garden beds looking full of interest from early summer well into the autumn months.

Bring the Sunshine Indoors: The Perfect Cut Flower

Sunfinity is a beautiful cut flower that lets you bring the beauty of the garden right to your kitchen table. Simply cut a few stems from your potted or in-ground Sunfinity and place them into a vase of fresh water with a packet of flower food. The best part? Sunfinity has minimal pollen drop, so you won’t need to worry about allergies flaring up or wiping yellow dust off your furniture every day.

The blooms are striking enough to stand alone, or you can mix and match them for a truly custom look. Lean into those rich, golden-yellow hues by pairing them with fresh-cut yellow zinnias and chrysanthemums, or create a vibrant summer arrangement by adding snapdragons, dahlias, and penstemon. These ideas are just the beginning—when it comes to your own DIY bouquets, the possibilities are endless.
