Seven tips to help bring pollinators to your yard and community!

  1. Plant flowers and plants that pollinators love to stop for! It’s easy when you add some of these 21 new varieties highlighted above.
  2. It doesn’t matter the size your garden is from containers, hanging baskets to backyards, pollinators will love you for it!
  3. Plant for continuous bloom throughout the growing season from spring to fall.
  4. If possible, plant in clusters to create a “target’ for pollinators to find easily.
  5. Give your pollinators a home to stay in.  Install bee homes, leave some bare ground for nests, keep brush piles, and add caterpillar host plants.
  6. Eliminate the use of pesticides and insecticides in your garden

All of these 21 plants do best in full to partial sun. For shade, a few plants include the annual Coleus, if left to flower, is a great magnet for bees. Hostas, a perennial, that when in flowers is great for pollinators. Coral Bells or Heuchera flowers are also loved by pollinators.
